Many folks have asked about our trawler so I have posted some photo’s. She is a 42′ Golden Star that was built in Taiwan in 1987. She has two state rooms (bedrooms) and two heads (bathrooms). There is a small galley (kitchen) with a refrigerator that runs on electric current or battery current and an electric stove with three burners and even an oven. The dinette sits across from the kitchen and serves more as my office than a place to eat. The salon has three comfy chairs where we can read or watch TV. A large part of our time is spent outside on the aft deck (think lanai on a boat
. When we were searching for a boat, that was a prerequisite and so were the nice wide sides to walk to the bow of the boat. There is a lower helm where we can run the boat in inclement weather but we also have an enclosed flybridge which is much easier to see, not only forward but to the rear also. Well, there you have it. If all goes well, we will be doing the Great American Loop next year. Check back to follow our adventures but for now, enjoy the photo’s below.
