Isle of Hope, GA – Hilton Head – Beaufort, SC

Fernandina Beach – ST Simons Island – Cattle Pen Creek – Isle of Hope

We arrived at Fernandina Beach Marina on Amelia Island at low tide on March 18th,  during what everyone was calling the “super moon”.  Because of the moon, which was the closest to the earth that it had been since 1993, the tides were affected and were approx. 3′ lower at low tide and 3′ higher . . . → Read More: Fernandina Beach – ST Simons Island – Cattle Pen Creek – Isle of Hope

Saint Augustine, Florida…

Saint Augustine, Florida, is the oldest, continuously occupied city in the US. It is a wonderful place with tons of history.  We  thoroughly enjoyed our visit there. We were only going to stay for two nights but decided to stay for three and probably could have spent a week there. We will definitely go back.
