Most of you know that there is a park nearby that I favor for walking. Many times I go there and don’t see much in the way of wildlife or birds. The scenery makes it an interesting walk even without wildlife. Walking over and around the salt marsh, watching the waves lap on the shore, walking through a forest and seeing the grasses and trees turn color as the seasons change make the walking the trail a joy. Of course, I am always on the lookout for birds and wildlife and today turned out to be a pretty good day. Oh yeah, I saw a black snake in the same vicinity as the rat (probably not a coincidence). I was too close to him (believe it or not) when I took his photo and he turned out blurred. I decided to share some of what I saw today.
Remember that you can click on a photo to see the full image in sideshow form. I haven’t done much with the photos other than crop them for the blog post. Hope that you enjoy my “walk in the park”.
