Welcome to day 361 of 365 photos…the evening sky was simply spectacular tonight. Mr. B got home from Durham around 4 PM and wanted a coffee so we went for an afternoon drive to Dunkin’ Donuts. We got his coffee and did a couple of errands and I started looking for something to photograph. I didn’t know what that something would be. We drove through Swansboro and nothing popped and I had had a long day so we headed home. The sun had just set by the time we went past the shrimp boats and as we started toward RT 58, the sky was turning a pretty pink. It just got better and on the way home I found my photo. This one was taken at the White Oak River. I braved the traffic to stand on the bridge to take this photo. 🙂 It was a spectacular sunset, don’t you think?Camera: Nikon D7100 – Lens: Nikon 18-300mm

A bit further down the road, there is a small pond near the golf course and I just had to stop one more time to get the following photo. You have to love the winter sunsets around here. Check out how you can see the blue sky up over the lower clouds and the conn trails were abundant tonight too.Glad that you stopped by my self-project of a photo a day for 365 days. If this is your first time to my site and you wonder what this 365 days of photos is all about, click HERE to read the original post. Settings are added to the photos so that I can remember what I’ve used and can see if any future photos done with other settings turn out better or worse. Remember, this project is all about my learning more about photography.
