Welcome to day 189 of 365 photos…the old swimming hole shown here today is actually at a boat ramp on the White Oak River. This particular landing is on a rutted up gravel road about three miles off of the main road. When we arrived, there were three fisherman fishing off the end of the dock and the kids were swimming down the river a bit. They were chomping at the bit for the fishermen to leave and as soon as they were gone, they were up on the dock and jumping in. Ah…to be a kid again!! Oh heck, if I were to admit it, you would have NEVER have seen me jumping into the water like this! I really like swimming pools the best so I can see what is at the bottom. *smile*Camera: Nikon D7100 – Lens: Nikon 18-300mm

Hey Liz, bet you thought you were going to see the hummingbirds! Maybe tomorrow. 🙂
Glad that you stopped by my self-project of a photo a day for 365 days. If this is your first time to my site and you wonder what this 365 days of photos is all about, click HERE to read the original post. Settings are added to the photos so that I can remember what I’ve used and can see if any future photos done with other settings turn out better or worse. Remember, this project is all about my learning more about photography.
Check out E-liz Treasures to see what my friend in Maine is doing with her daily photos.
Comments are always welcomed. I would love to hear from you.
