Welcome to day 187 of 365 photos…”Rainy Day Cardinals” seemed to be an appropriate title for this post. We have had a LOT of young cardinal coming to the feeder in the last few days. Most of they look pretty different than they do when they grow up. They have varying colors, are scrufty looking and their beaks may be gray, orange or a combination of the two. Then add the fact that it was raining and they are all wet!
Today, Mr. B and I went out for a short ride but it was raining too hard to get a photo for this post. When I got home, I was watching out the cardinals out of the window and decided that they would make a great subject for this post. Once I started to take photos, it was hard to stop. 🙂 Hence, there is more than one photo. They were all taken through the window. Some are better than others but I thought I would share them all. Enjoy these little cuties.Camera: Nikon D7100 – Lens: Nikon 18-300mm

Glad that you stopped by my self-project of a photo a day for 365 days. If this is your first time to my site and you wonder what this 365 days of photos is all about, click HERE to read the original post. Settings are added to the photos so that I can remember what I’ve used and can see if any future photos done with other settings turn out better or worse. Remember, this project is all about my learning more about photography.
