Welcome to day 165 of 365 photos…this Laughing Gull was sitting on a post at the park and as he flew, I snapped a burst of photos. With not much time to bring the camera up, aim and snap, I rushed a bit. When I brought the photos into Lightroom, I thought that I would have throw-aways but I really like the look of these photos. I don’t think that the gull alone or the bridging alone would have made a pleasing photo but I like the way the two compliment each other. There was very little cropping done on any of the photos. I have a favorite here but I’m not saying which one it is. Which one do you like best? See if we agree!Camera: Nikon D7100 – Lens: Nikon 18-300mm
Focal Length: 52mm – Aperture: f/8.0 – Shutter Speed: 1/500 second – ISO: 500Glad that you stopped by my self-project of a photo a day for 365 days. If this is your first time to my site and you wonder what this 365 days of photos is all about, click HERE to read the original post. Settings are added to the photos so that I can remember what I’ve used and can see if any future photos done with other settings turn out better or worse. Remember, this project is all about my learning more about photography.
