Welcome to day 136 of 365 photos…yesterday, Mr. B & I took an afternoon cruise on the Crystal Coast Lady out of Beaufort, NC. The 4PM tour on the Crystal Coast Lady is a wild pony and dolphin scenic tour. The tour covers 15 miles and is narrated by the Captain. We traveled down Taylor’s Creek, past Carrot Island & the Rachel Carson Reserve. We saw a pony on the edge of the water and some of Beaufort’s historical homes. We turned around and went past the fishing fleet and under the draw bridge, out for a way where we saw the remains of a couple of fishing processing plants. Then back under the high-rise bridge to the Morehead City waterfront. Along the way, we passed the Duke Marine Lab, sighted Ft. Macon and the US Coast Guard station. And have I mentioned boats??? The amount of boat traffic is unbelievable. There are boats of all sizes including some super-yachts. It was an all-in-all really nice trip even though we didn’t see much wildlife. It was an entertaining trip and well worth the $20.00 per person (children are less).

Glad that you stopped by my self-project of a photo a day for 365 days. If this is your first time to my site and you wonder what this 365 days of photos is all about, click HERE to read the original post. Settings are added to the photos so that I can remember what I’ve used and can see if any future photos done with other settings turn out better or worse. Remember, this project is all about my learning more about photography.
