Welcome to day 102 of 365 photos…Brock Mill House and Pond, located in Trenton, North Carolina. Brock Mill Pond is one of Jones County’s most scenic and historic areas. The first gristmill was built at the site before the Revolutionary War. All photos except for the one below were taken on Auto using my Canon SX50.I love how the water falling over the dam looks gold. There were swallows swooping over the rough water but they were too fast for me to get a clear photo.
Camera: Nikon D7100 – Lens: Nikon 80-400mm
Focal Length: 80mm – Aperture: f/5.6 – Shutter Speed: 1/2000 second – ISO: 250I chuckled when I read my friend, Eliz’s post today because she posted on reflections. I, of course, had this photo that I wanted to mention the reflection. We do that sort of thing quite often.:-)Glad that you stopped by my self-project of a photo a day for 365 days. If this is your first time to my site and you wonder what this 365 days of photos is all about, click HERE to read the original post. Settings are added to the photos so that I can remember what I’ve used and can see if any future photos done with other settings turn out better or worse. Remember, this project is all about my learning more about photography.
Check out E-liz Treasures to see what my friend in Maine is doing with her daily photos.
Comments are always welcomed. I would love to hear from you.
